At Simpson University, a number of girls have given up blow-drying their hair this month, while campus men are showering in the dark. All this and more is being done to aide the relief effort in Haiti.

On April Fools' day, 2009, Popcap Games (makers of Peggle and Bejewled) announced Plants vs. Zombies with a ridiculous animated music video featuring a sunflower singing about how we do not want zombies on our lawn (seriously, look it up on Youtube). On March 12-14, Simpson University will be holding Genesis, a weekend event designed to allow potential students to preview the University's academic and student life, as well as help them with the application and registration process.

According to Jer Kue, who is in charge of the preview weekend, Genesis is, "a youth conference event meant to bless our current students as well as show our visitors what Simpson is all about.

Nightlife Becomes Simpson Through the Ages

Nitelife, one of the biggest occasions on campus, has arrived. Students, as well as locals, will converge tonight on campus to witness Simpson's finest in an annual display of hilarity and community.

Nitelife has traditionally been an exhibit of talent in which ten groups of students (give or take a couple) take the stage and perform their little hearts out, of course accompanied by flashing lights and musical genius.
