Students will face another increase in tutition for the next school year

Tuition will increase for the 2008-2009 school year. The cost for a full-time undergraduate student will increase from $18,600 to $19,500.

According to Vice President for Business Services Brad Williams, Simpson is the least expensive out of 18 Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU)
schools on the West Coast.

University launches $10 million capital campaign

"The Gateway to the Future Campaign" is the first major capital campaign in Simpson's 87-year history, said Simpson President Dr. Larry McKinney in the capital campaign promotional DVD. It was launched publically on April 5 at a formal banquet in Redding at The Holiday Inn on Hilltop Drive.

Vacaville baseball stadium finds new home at Simpson

Simpson University and Add Some Color, Inc. have announced a partnership that will transfer portions of the present Vacaville Baseball Stadium to Simpson University to construct a baseball stadium on the university's campus.

Plans for the Simpson baseball stadium were approved on April 7 when President Larry McKinney and Jason Kelly, founder of Add Some Color, Inc.

Cooper-Heath dorm shows giving spirit

Throughout the 2007-2008 school year, the Cooper- Heath girls have been involved in such constructive activities as an art show, the "I'm A Part Of Change" campaign, the Angel Tree program, and Be A Hero. They also recycle bottles and cans and send the money to a charity.

What does your job entail?
I handle most of the financial aspects of Conference Services and University Services and I coordinate all of the guest housing.

How long have you worked at Simpson?
It will be ten years in August.

What do you like most about working at Simpson?
I really enjoy working with college students in a Christian environment and being the team mom for the basketball teams.

What does your job entail?
I award all of the non-traditional students including ASPIRE students, credentialing students, and master students. I also award returning undergraduate students and supervise four staff members: three financial aid counselors and one document coordinator.

What does your job entail?
Well, I do transcript evaluations and degree audits. I do pretty much everything for graduations, planning, etc. I am a veterans student advisor and an international student advisor as well.

We really have an incredible team of people in this office who work really well together.

My job involves reference help for students and professors, as well as in class instruction on how to use the database, and how the library works. I also handle donations for the library.

Women and Wallace is a tragic and comic play written by Jonathan Marc Sherman in 1990. It is about the development and struggles of a boy named Wallace (played by Michael Gallegos) after his mother commits suicide.

The play showed Apr. 3-5 and Apr. 10-12 for five dollars in the Orisons Theatre at Simpson University at 7 p.
