Vacaville baseball stadium finds new home at Simpson
Simpson University and Add Some Color, Inc. have announced a partnership that will transfer portions of the present Vacaville Baseball Stadium to Simpson University to construct a baseball stadium on the university's campus.
Plans for the Simpson baseball stadium were approved on April 7 when President Larry McKinney and Jason Kelly, founder of Add Some Color, Inc.
University launches $10 million capital campaign
Projects include fine arts, science buildings
"The Gateway to the Future Campaign" is the first major capital campaign in Simpson's 87-year history, said Simpson President Dr. Larry McKinney in the capital campaign promotional DVD. It was launched publically on April 5 at a formal banquet in Redding at The Holiday Inn on Hilltop Drive.
Students will face another increase in tutition for the next school year
Tuition will increase for the 2008-2009 school year. The cost for a full-time undergraduate student will increase from $18,600 to $19,500.
According to Vice President for Business Services Brad Williams, Simpson is the least expensive out of 18 Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU)
schools on the West Coast.
